Choir
Elementary students can join Choir with Mary.
Performances are held at School Assemblies, City Hall, Davis Symphony & end of the year Giants game.
Music
Pat (Josef Nelson's mom) gives music classes for Jessica's 4-5 class.
Mr. Staples provides instrumental instruction Wednesdays & Thursdays to 4-8th graders.
SFC Ensemble meets Wednesdays & Thursdays 8-9am (advance students only).
They perform at the schools Auction, Carnival and at various city wide events.
Instruments include: Piano, Violin, Bass, Sax, Clarinet, Guitar and more.
AIM- Adventures in Music is a collaboration between SFUSD and SF Symphony.
Students in K-5 attend four or five concerts throughout the winter & spring at Monroe.
They will also go to Davies Symphony Hall in the spring for a special kids concert.
Art
Visiting Artist program- students receive art instruction from the visiting artist program.Garden
Elementary Garden Classes Tuesday's and Thursday's. Teachers identified topics they felt matched their curriculum best and we developed the lessons from there. Feel free to drop by and attend a garden class!
